Virtual Family Info

Instead of bringing our families to Camp, we are bringing Camp to our families.

The pandemic has made Camp Agape Northwest look a little different, but we still want to bring Agape to you.

Camp Agape Northwest Presents: Agape Gives

For more than 25 years, Camp Agape Northwest has had one focus - unconditional love for families impacted by childhood cancer. We have learned that Agape manifests itself in many ways, from running up and down a hill 30 times a day, to preparing amazing food for families, or just granting parents some much needed time to connect and reflect.

In the past couple of years the world has changed. We are all anxiously awaiting a time when we can all be together, but this year the Camp Agape Northwest Board, with support from our nursing staff and directors, have made the decision to wait a little longer until we are all together in person again. In the meantime, we are excited to tell you about Agape Gives! Agape Gives is a new way to reach families this summer and will launch July 23-24, 2022.

Q: What does Agape Gives look like for families?
  • Well, we can't tell you everything, but we can tell you that it will be amazing! Imagine some surprises, a bit of chaos, and a set of experiences that the family can do when it works best for them, on their schedule. If you ever thought about a Summer of adventure packed into a box, this is it!
Q: Who can participate?
  • Agape Gives is for families who have been impacted by childhood cancer. Maybe you just received a diagnosis, maybe you're in the middle of treatment, maybe you finished treatment six or ten months ago. Regardless, it is hard. Likely your whole family has been impacted in ways you never imagined. We want to provide you a bit of a break by providing time together as a family that you may not have the time, money, or capacity to plan right now. Let us do the work for you and we can also connect you to families who understand or people willing to just listen.
Q: What if I am not sure this is right for my family?
  • We completely understand! Email: families@campagapenw.org. Ask all your questions, get all the details! Camp Agape Northwest and Agape Gives are always provided free of charge.
